Naturopathic Medicine

Dr. Denise Tarasuk has a family practice where she incorporates Naturopathic Medicine, Homeopathy, and Ayurvedic Medicine to treat patients of all ages.  She is board certified and a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of California.  Her focus is treating the individual as a whole person and promoting health. She performs routine examinations and laboratory testing when indicated.  

Dr. Tarasuk’s aim is to treat the underlying cause of disease using natural therapies such as nutrition, homeopathy, herbs, and vitamins. Her goal is to provide natural interventions to restore health and encourage wellness.  Dr. Tarasuk is known for her gentle but effective treatments using a unique integrative approach with natural medicine. 

Dr. Tarasuk’s Master’s research thesis in Ayurveda, from Mount Madonna Institute of Ayurveda, entitled “A Review and Comparative Analysis of Ayurvedic and Western Literature Regarding Ayurvedic Treatment Approach for Tourette’s syndrome: A Kampa Vata Disorder” won the 2009 “Patanjali Award of Excellence in Ayurvedic Research” from the  Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America(AAPNA). She is presently on the last chapter of her book on Tics and Tourette’s syndrome, which she plans to publish soon. 

Dr. Tarasuk is an experienced Homeopathic doctor.  She has a passion for Homeopathy, which includes reading original texts and writing.  Dr. Tarasuk enjoys writing and lecturing on Homeopathy. She has presented internationally on topics such as Autism, Tics and Tourette’s syndrome and Learning Disorders.

Dr. Tarasuk is presently writing a book which takes place in India. The book is set in a Homeopathic clinic, in a village two hours from Kolkata.  The village stories of medicine and life as a volunteer doctor will take the reader on quite an adventure.  Dr. Tarasuk will provide updates periodically.
