Dr. Tarasuk is a Naturopathic Doctor who is board certified and licensed in the State of California.  Her goal as a Naturopathic Doctor is to treat the underlying cause of the disease and restore health.  Acute and chronic health conditions can be treated successfully using natural approaches, which may include biomedical medicine, homeopathic medicine, Ayurveda, nutrition, botanical medicine, and incorporation of lifestyle changes.

Dr. Tarasuk’s  specialty includes patients with Autism, Asperger’s syndrome, ADD, ADHD, Sensory Integration Disorder, Tourette’s syndrome and Down’s syndrome.  She enjoys treating children, teenagers and adults with learning disorders.  Dr. Tarasuk is a "Candidate for Fellowship" with the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS).  

Dr. Tarasuk has a special approach when treating children with hyperacusis, gross and fine motor skill problems.  She enjoys working with children with temper tantrums and impossible moods.  Her treatments include care plans for hyperactivity, learning disabilities, reading difficulties and children who cannot tie their shoes.

Homeopathy

Dr. Tarasuk’s treatment include homeopathy, a holistic modality, which stimulates the vital force helping the individual’s health to return to a state of homeostasis.  She takes a very detailed history which helps her diagnose and use very specific remedies based on signs and symptoms the patient narrates during their appointment.  Each case is taken individually and a single remedy approach is used.  Dr. Tarasuk is considered an expert in the field of Homeopathy and has lectured internationally.  Her ability to listen, interpret and understand the patient makes her successful with the selection of homeopathic remedies which stimulates the “vital force”  to heal the body, mind and spirit.  

Ayurvedic Medicine

Dr. Tarasuk has a Master of Arts in Ayurveda.  Ayurveda or the “Science of Life” is a branch of the ancient Vedic philosophy and medicine that has been practiced in India for four thousand years.  Dr. Tarasuk uses Ayurvedic healing methods to balance the doshas bring peace and health to the body, mind and soul.  Her treatments are gentle and effective.  She uses herbs, nutrition and suggestion with lifestyle changes according to the classical texts of Ayurvedic Medicine.
